Personal Experience
I had an experience with a man that came to my garage sale. He must have talked with me for over an hour. He was showing me every verse in the Bible that proved that what I believed in was wrong. And every time I went to say something the Spirit left me. I had my buddy John with me and he could not say anything either. We both just stared at the man blankly. He then told us to pray about it and see if what he was telling us was true. We did just that and the spirit came back to us and once again confirmed that the things he was saying was not true. He told us that when he confessed his sins to the preacher that there was 8 of them all in a row and that it felt as though he was being whipped for the sins he did. I could not even think what to say to him about his experience at the time. After he had gone and I prayed, I had all the thoughts about what I should have said come to me. Would God really punish us for confessing our sins? No, I think not. At church one of the speakers related to a similar experience and he bore his testimony. The man he spoke to could not imagine how a 19 year old boy could have such a conviction of how true the church was and how sure that Joseph Smith truly is and was a Prophet. The only thing I could come up with is that the Lord wanted John and I to learn the lesson that when your Faith is tested, to bare your testimony as you will be filled with the Holy Spirit and he will speak for you.

LDS.org - Ensign Article - When Life Is Getting You Down
It is important to find the balance between healthy stress and unhealthy stress that can lead to problems. This is especially important to me because of the fact that I suffer from bi-polar depression and without the aid of my medication I could easily revert back into a depression from stress, environment, seasons, or sometimes nothing at all.

What new members need
New members need three thing, according to President Hinckley:
a friend, a responsibility, and spiritual nourishment.

Follow The Spirit
I kept getting this spiritual impression that I need to go to the employment offices at Deseret. One of the items in my patriarchal blessing said that I needed to go to school. So when I got there I talked over my situation and he helped me figure out what path and avenue I needed to take to make that happen. I am working with an agency called Voc Rehab to help me return back to work. I had mentioned to him that the process was very slow. He let me know that it was best to let this agency do its work and that it would produce the end result that I wanted which was a plan to get my education in the field that made the most sense, with the end result being employment. He also let me know that since I wanted to do IT work not to jump to get certified. Most companies will pay for that later if they see that you have a strong educational background. Man what a load lifted off of my shoulders. I bare my testimony to you that following the spirit will open many blessings. The gospel is true, we need only to immerse ourselves in it to reap the many blessing the Lord has for us. Our Lord Jesus Christ is our redeemer, and through him anything is possible. I say these things unto you in the name of Jesus The Christ Amen.

LDS.org - Ensign Article - Dating versus Hanging Out
Man I wish I would have had this when I was in high school it would have helped me with figuring out why it was so hard to ask a girl out. It was harder for me because of some experiences in middle school having my heart broke. I was a lot more sensitive then and it made my experiences later with girls more complicated as I was more defensive. I have not dated in a long time. It's time to let the barriers down and stop being so afraid to date.

LDS.org - Ensign Article - Christlike Communications
LDS.org - Ensign Article - Christlike Communications
Heavenly Father has given us a priceless gift in our capacity to communicate with each other. Our communications are at the core of our relationships with others. If we are to return home safely to Heavenly Father, we must develop righteous relationships with His children here in mortality.
Our communications reflect in our countenance. Therefore, we must be careful not only what we communicate, but also how we do so. Souls can be strengthened or shattered by the message and the manner in which we communicate.

LDS.org - Liahona Article - Earthly Debts, Heavenly Debts
LDS.org - Liahona Article - Earthly Debts, Heavenly Debts
My beloved brethren and sisters, what a glorious event it is to attend conference. We find that the words spoken are words of inspiration, and it’s a joy to be present.
I would like to talk about our heavenly debts and earthly debts. The Gospels record that nearly everywhere the Savior went, He was surrounded by multitudes of people. Some hoped that He would heal them; others came to hear Him speak. Others came for practical advice. Toward the end of His mortal ministry, some came to mock and ridicule Him and to clamor for His crucifixion.
One day a man approached the Savior and asked Him to intervene in a family dispute. “Master, speak to my brother,” he pleaded, “that he divide the inheritance with me.”
The Savior refused to take sides on this issue, but He did teach an important lesson. “Beware of covetousness,” He told him, “for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.” 1
Brothers and sisters, beware of covetousness. It is one of the great afflictions of these latter days. It creates greed and resentment. Often it leads to bondage, heartbreak, and crushing, grinding debt.
The number of marriages that have been shattered over money issues is staggering. The amount of heartbreak is great. The stress that comes from worry over money has burdened families, caused sickness, depression, and even premature death.

This has proved to be a difficult task for me to do as I have many hospital bills due to my bi-polar disorder. So in posting this I too will be learning this concept right along with you. ~Izzy~

Techies ponder computers smarter than us - Yahoo! News
SAN FRANCISCO - At the center of a black hole there lies a point called a singularity where the laws of physics no longer make sense. In a similar way, according to futurists gathered Saturday for a weekend conference, information technology is hurtling toward a point where machines will become smarter than their makers. If that happens, it will alter what it means to be human in ways almost impossible to conceive, they say.

1st Entry
ISAIAH
10 And if thou draw out thy soul to the ahungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light brise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noonday:
We have both a physical and a spiritual hunger. Like the physical hunger the spiritual hunger must too be fed. We do so by daily scripture study and without this our spirits starve. We should build our lives deeply rooted in the foundations of the Lord, as this is the key to our happiness and salvation. It is also important to keep thy sabbath day holy. This means that we give the Lord the entire day and honor him by not doing the things that please us. I do have a testimony of these things as they have enriched my life and brought me many blessings. And I say this in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.
